Announcement reel for GRUVED 2, my event with JumbogoatXXL. I handled full direction, camera, and edit, leaning into The Office–style handheld zooms and mockumentary framing to make the promo feel like a tongue‑in‑cheek “ad” rather than a generic event trailer. The goal was to sell the vibe and personality of the night first, while still clearly delivering the key details for the show.
I was the Grip on RICE Media’s branded short “Why Are Singaporeans So Sleep‑Deprived?”, a 4‑minute Samsung Galaxy Watch6 feature exploring Singapore’s sleep deprivation. The video blends street interviews, a psychiatrist’s perspective on revenge bedtime procrastination, and lifestyle sequences of the host tracking his rest, framing the watch as a tool for building healthier sleep and digital habits.
Directed, scripted, shot and edited by Marc Clarence for Spartans Boxing Club.
A 45‑second New Year spot that rejects unrealistic resolutions in favour of small, repeatable wins. Set inside a boxing gym, the film focuses on intimate, in‑between moments – wrapping hands, stepping into the ring, pushing through discomfort – to show how consistency, not perfection, drives real change. The message is simple: win the day, win your 2025.
Short-form reel for Overshade Collective’s Mammoth Auburn shades, shot in Saigon. I handled everything end-to-end: concept, location scouting, cinematography, and edit. Tight pacing, early close-ups of the frames, and city-driven movement are used to make the Mammoth Auburn feel like a daily urban essential and keep the reel watchable in a fast scroll environment.
Fashion reel for Overshade Collective and Sciran, inspired by Gakuyen. I handled direction, camera, and edit to showcase the shades and Sciran’s lifestyle/fitness persona in a clean, punchy visual sequence built for short-form.
An announcement reel introducing JumbogoatXXL’s debut at Tomorrowland and highlighting the limited-edition JBL Flip Tomorrowland speaker. Set in a Singapore hawker centre, the piece contrasts everyday chaos with controlled, music-driven energy to position JumbogoatXXL as a larger-than-life presence arriving on a global stage. I handled concept, direction, camera, and edit, focusing on punchy pacing, bold framing, and sound design that ties the artist reveal to the product hero moment
I was a Camera Operator on RICE Media’s “Local vs Private Degree in Singapore: Does it Matter?”, a branded Singapore, Unfiltered piece produced with PSB Academy. The video profiles four private degree graduates across banking, tech, entrepreneurship, and cancer research, contrasting stigma around private degrees with their actual career outcomes, and positioning PSB Academy’s flexible, industry-linked programs as a viable path for working adults and non-traditional students to advance in STEM and business.
Formative Search x Spartans is a 19-second sponsor video woven into the visual sequences of Spartans Boxing Club’s White Collar event. I handled the project end to end — from concept to shoot to edit — to embed Formative Search naturally into the atmosphere of the night, connecting their brand with courage, discipline, and ambition in and out of the ring.
